早川。。2週目

Hello everyone!

It's me again, Karl! I hope you've all been well. I've been meeting more and more parents as the days go by and I am pleased that many speak very good English. Thanks for welcoming me to Hayakawa and I look forward to meeting more of you soon.

So you might be wondering, how I ended up here.. Well, it's a long story, but, I was getting bored of city life and I wanted a new challenge. So, I decided to leave the 11th largest city in Japan and embark on a more laidback journey in a rural part of Japan, where the trees are always lush, the river, swift and full of life and the mood, simple but exotic. I had no idea where I'd end up but alas I'm here, in Hayakawa, Yamanashi on the journey of a lifetime in the inaka. As the most sparsely populated “town” in Japan, Hayakawa is very homely. I know that some “big” schools in Japan have more students than the entire population of the Hayakawa. But if small is ever good, it's evidenced in Hayakawa. The students have become my heroes. They are so polite, smart and disciplined. I can't wait to interact with them more.

I'll tell you much more next time.

So until then, walk good!

カール
