Snow Festival and Student Elections

Good day everybody! I hope you are having a nice Friday.

Today, Kitasho had student elections. In English, we call all of the students the "student body." Usually the leader of the student body is called the "president" and his second is called the "vice president." The students were all very excited for the election, and they had many good speeches and questions. I think today is a very fun day for them.

Do you know what is going on right now? The Sapporo Snow Festival! This festival is very famous in Japan, right? I think it must be fun. I have seen many pictures and it looks beautiful. Have you ever been to the Snow Festival before? If so, what was your favorite part? I will be going for just one night this weekend. I'm excited. There is a lot of snow in the U.S. right now, but it doesn't snow much in Hayakawa. I look forward to seeing more snow.

I will be in Hokkaido, but what will you do this weekend? Do you have any plans? Next Tuesday is also a holiday, don't forget! If you have a very busy week, I think it is important to try and enjoy your weekends as much as you can. If you enjoy your weekends, you will have more energy during the week!

Okay, that's all for today. I'll see you next week!
