有名人になった！？！

いや、そうでもありませんが、私は平成20年5月23日の山梨日日新聞に載っているのです。校長先生に教えていただいて、「ええ？！？」ってびっくりしました。何か変な顔もしてるし…(-_-);;

どんな場面というと、それは今週の火曜日に南小で童たちと一緒に風船を空に飛ばしたところです。風船に願いを乗せて、遠いところへその気持ちを運んでくれるように、児童たちの皆さんはそう望んでいます。他の先生方がもうこのことについてかいていらっしゃると思いますが、火曜日に子供たちが「人権の花運動」で命の大切さや他の人への思いやりについて学び、平和を渇望するように願いを書いて花の種と一緒に風船に乗せて飛ばしました。その気持ちは世界中に届ければいいですね。

I’m famous!?!

Well, not really, but I did appear in the May 23, 2008 edition of the Yamanashi NichiNichi Newspaper today. The headmaster told me and I was like “eh?!?” I was very surprised. Not to mention that I’m making a weird face in the picture… (-_-);;

As for where the picture was taken, it was at the Minami Elementary School this past Tuesday, when the children and I released balloons into the sky. Sending their wishes on the balloons, all of the students hope that those feelings will be carried to far-off places. Other teachers have probably already written about this, but on Tuesday the students learned about the importance of human life and consideration toward others during the “Human Rights Flower Activities.” They then wrote wishes expressing their yearning for peace and attached them to the balloons along with flower seeds, finally releasing them into the sky. It would be wonderful if those wishes could reach all around the world.
